Careful with that Radium Marie, or you'll turn into a laughing cow

I have been quite averse to the talk about how contemporary popular music is dead and that nothing of quality has seen the light of day recently. However, 2012 - so far - proves to be insanely abysmal and criminally frustrating (most of this post is gonna be oldies). As a rough quantitative index, 6 months into the year, and I have only 5.5 albums to the year's end list, only one of which is truly memorable. This situation, most hopefully - will be remedied once the new Piano magic is out next month. If ever there were someone who can step up to the plate and save the day, Glen Johnson is the guy. P-L-E-A-S-E salvage this horrendous year...

Piano magic - The slightest of threads (2012)

Gold & youth - Time to kill (2012)

Woodkid - Run boy run (2012)

Keaton Henson - Small hands (2011)

Cerrone - Supernature (1977)

Principal Edwards' magic theatre - McAlpine's dream (from: The Asmoto running band, Dandelion 1971)

T2 - No more white horses (from: It'll all work out in Boomland, BBC 1970)
