It's virtually impossible to think of a genre more puerile and
pathetic than nu metal. However, as is always the case, even amongst the hordes
of talentless, banal and cliché bands that popped in the wake of Fred Durst,
there were some good things. Actually, amazing. Bionic jive's debut remains one
of the best debut albums of the previous decade. Since then the band has had a
fair share of ups and (mostly) downs. Now they return with a new single. Can't
say I'm as enthusiastic about it as I was with Armageddon through your
speakers, and definitely the video horribly appeals to the target crowd they
should have by now abandoned, but, MAYBE, some good will come out of it.
