This post, inadvertently, celebrates the work of several women dabbling in various genres. Towering high above them all today is Jenny Wilson, who, in her third album, molts her old skin and brews a gospel-electro-pop stew, which is equal parts Prince, Sweet honey in the rock and, naturally, her bosses The knife. Far superior in quality, this album is a solid addition to what seems to be a brilliant pop year.
