A Landmark asshole

Armen at the bazaar – Drive with me (2011)

Oh, the times they are sadly changing… Mia Doi Todd used to be such an amazing songwriter. She was heavy, melodramatic, and offered a dense listening. Now the dense is replaced by dance and a happy-go-lucky sun-is-shining attitude. Don't get me wrong: whatever brought about this change in her life obviously makes her happy and I'm all for that, BUT if it makes you do videos that look as though they were custom made to make retarded hipsters drool and immediately twit their contact at their local American apparel branch, then, unfortunately, our ways have to part. The song is not that bad, but the uber-infantile eyesore of a video is a definite no-no (yes, I do realize the it's a Gondry video, so fucking what?). I truly hope this single is not representative of the rest of the new album

Mia Doi Todd - Open your heart (from: Cosmic ocean ship, City zen 17/05/2011)

To disinfect my PFC from this horror I had to give a few listens to this (it's a shitty band but this songs serves a purpose, just pay close attention to the lyrics)

Circus of dead squirrels - Overpopulation annihilation (2009)

And then I was able to remind myself what Doi Todd sounded like in the good ol' days
